Sacred Heart Education Endowment Fund
The committee manages the Sacred Heart Education Endowment Fund. Three to five percent of the earnings are given to the Parish annually. Because only a portion is spent each year, gifts to the endowment are perpetual. All educational programs at Sacred Heart benefit: Preschool, Elementary School, Youth Ministry and Faith Formation, and Adult Faith Formation.
The committee provides oversight to the fund and communicates with the financial advisors. They conduct appeals to encourage Sacred Heart parishioners and school alumni to contribute through cash donations, memorials, bequests, insurance policies, investments and establishing a Named Fund. All gifts are tax deductible.
Meets on the second Tuesday of February, April, May, August, October and November at 5:30pm in the Parish Office meeting room. Additional meetings may be needed. Members serve a 3 year term and are allowed 2 consecutive terms.
Current members are Father Leif, Cathy Dey, Mike Kubat, Tom Sankovitz, Robert Schmidt, Molly Ulschmid and Mary Williams.
Our support person is Diane Wollenburg.
Financial knowledge is required for membership. Application with the pastor and committee is required.
